Join an event

Visitors

  1. Open Explore and stay on Events. Search by area and date, or tap a chip like This weekend or Free.
  2. Open an event and tap Join. Sign in with Apple or Google if you haven't yet.
  3. You'll find it in Plans, with a reminder the day before. At the door, give your name. If there's a price, pay the host there.
  4. Can't make it? Open Plans and tap Give spot back.

Find a café for your event

Organisers

  1. Open Explore and switch to Cafés. Search by area, date and number of guests.
  2. Open a café, pick an open slot and tap Request. Choose how many guests, what you're planning, add a note and your WhatsApp number, and accept the café's terms.
  3. No payment is taken. You'll get a notification when the café replies. Your request is in Plans.
  4. Once approved, tap WhatsApp café in Plans to agree the details, then Create event page.

Publish and run an event page

Organisers and cafés

  1. From an approved request (or, for cafés, one of your own slots), tap Create event page.
  2. Add a title, what happens, a category, how many spots, and whether it's free or paid at the door. Choose Everyone on Thirdspace or Only people with the link.
  3. Tap Publish event. Share the link from the event dashboard.
  4. On the day, open the event in Today and tap Check in next to each guest as they arrive.

List your café

Café owners

  1. In Profile, tap List your café. There are six short steps: basics (with the café's WhatsApp number), photos, your space, open slots, pricing and terms, then review.
  2. Tap Save and exit at any time to finish later.
  3. Once published, new requests appear in Today. WhatsApp the organiser, then Approve or Decline (you can add a note).
  4. Pause your listing from Listings whenever you need to.

Notifications

Thirdspace asks to send notifications after your first join, request or published event, never on first launch. To change it later, open the iPhone's Settings > Thirdspace > Notifications.

Report or block

Every café, event and person has a Report option. You can block anyone from the overflow menu on a request or a profile. Blocked people can't request your café or join your events.

Your phone number

Visitors never need one. Organisers give a WhatsApp number with a venue request, and only that café sees it. Change it in Profile > Personal info and WhatsApp.

Delete your account

In the app: Profile > Delete account. More on the delete your account page.

Android?

Not yet. Thirdspace starts on iPhone, in English. Android and Bahasa Melayu come later.
